The Annual Memorial Day Parade in Easton:
2026 Memorial Day Parade- May 25th
THE PARADE WILL BE HELD RAIN OR SHINE. It will only be cancelled in the case of unsafe conditions such as a lightning storm. A final call will be made in consultation with town officials Sunday afternoon/evening. Any changes will be posted here.
Easton, CT— The parade will be held on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25. Participants should arrive at the Easton Fire Station no later than 9 AM. Step off will be at 9:30 AM. The route will be the same as in past years, following Center road to town hall. Once all participants have arrived at town hall there will be the traditional ceremony. The opening invocation will be given and the ceremony will include remarks from distinguished guests, a flag raising, and a rifle salute. The Closing benediction will be given.
After the ceremony, Post 160 members will be traveling to two cemeteries in Easton to perform short honor ceremonies. Members of the public are welcome to attend those ceremonies as well.
As always, the parade is being held in honor of those who have given their lives in America’s conflicts.

2020 Memorial Day Parade - Canceled
Due to pandemic restrictions the 2020 Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled.
A small group of Post 160 members will however be visiting veteran gravesites on the morning of the 25th.
Following appropriate safety precautions we will perform our usual graveside rifle and bugle salute.
