The Easton Memorial Day Parade is scheduled for Monday, May 26th.

Participants should arrive at the Easton Fire Station prior to 9 AM.

The Parade steps off promptly at 9:30 AM and ends at Town Hall.

Following the parade there will be a ceremony honoring those who gave their lives defending America and our freedoms.

The opening invocation and closing benediction will be provided by local church leaders.

Isabel Mariani will sing the National Anthem and God Bless America.

After the ceremony, short remembrances will be held at the Easton Cemeteries. All are welcome.

Easton’s own LTC Nate Dougall Honored in ceremony at
Webster Bank Arena

LTC Dougall was activated by the CT Army National Guard from April 2020 to June 2021 for the State's COVID-19 response working the evening shift after his civilian job.  LTC Dougall worked inside the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) in Hartford, CT as the future operations planner responding to the state and regional requests for assistance.  As part of this, the team helped distribute ventilators and personal protective equipment (PPE), provided nursing home inspection teams to work alongside state employees, setting up emergency shelters, the deployment of auxiliary beds in multiple locations, setting up COVID-19 rapid test centers and eventually COVID-19 vaccine sites.
